Account Executive

Location: Chicago, Illinois

HiFi Travel is seeking an Account Executive to oversee client accounts for organizations traveling to cities including, but not limited to, Chicago, Nashville, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Toronto, Ft. Lauderdale, and Austin. The Account Executive will collaborate closely with the supply management team and operations teams to manage the sales process from start to finish.

This is a in-office position that requires 5 days per week in the Chicago corporate office.

A day in the life as a Account Executive…

  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Travel to universities and host campus activations to market the brand.
  • Manage performance. Track and report critical metrics data in our CRM.
  • Use data to optimize processes, creatively solve problems, and track results.
  • Understand and keep up to date with industry and competitive landscape knowledge.
  • Work with your managers and team to regularly forecast and set goals for your markets.
  • Forecast inventory needs based on deal flow, trends, and market fluctuations.
  • Build and create customized travel packages, personal to each client
  • Hire and mentor campus directors who generate potential client leads
  • Manage events on site to ensure safety and enjoyment for clients.

  • Strong communicator. Communicate across the organization and with external vendors to ensure timely resolutions, quality control, and process feedback. Synthesize feedback and recommendations to central operations, business, and other team members.
  • Solutions-based thinker. Lead urgent projects, prioritize tasks, and overcome obstacles that come your way.
  • Team player with leadership spirit, proactive approach and capable of working independently
  • Excellent data entry and accuracy skills
  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment
Compensation and benefits…
  • $50,000 base + commissions. Qualified candidates should expect to earn $60,000 to $85,000 in their first year.
  • 50% match on the Company’s health insurance, vision, and dental plans
  • 401k match equal to 50% percent of the employee’s elective salary, up to a maximum of 6%.
